Your Mentoring Contract

  • I will not videotape or voice record during the lesson
  • All information and lessons discussed, given or shared with you is for the attendee only and should not be discussed or give to those who have not attended the mentoring/workshop. Including forums, emails, blogs, websites or social media platforms
  • I will not hold Polly Thronsen of Polly Jane Photography liable for any personal injury sustained while on location during lesson
  • I will not hold Polly Thronsen of Polly Jane Photography liable for any damage to my personal equipment while on location during the lesson.
  • Images taken from the workshop/mentoring session can be used on attendees blog, website and social media sites. However, they are NOT allowed to be submitted to any contest or online forum or other blogs for purposes of publication
  • Any images posted on attendees website, blog or any social media site will give credit that the images were shot at the 1:1 or group workshop/mentoring of Polly Jane Photography.
  • Attended mentored persons must refrain from offering their own workshop or mentoring sessions online or in person for a minimum of 6 months from mentoring date. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

You agree that you will:

  • carefully review the information in the Details and ensure that it is correct;
  • advise me as soon as possible if you become aware of any changes to your booking including postponement or cancellation (refer section below); 
  • You acknowledge and agree that I am not liable for any cancellation charges incurred by you in relation to any third parties. 
  • be responsible for any damage to your equipment caused by anyone at the mentoring/workshop day.  

FEES

  • A non-refundable deposit of $450 is required to secure and guarantee your booking. 
  • 50% of the balance due payable 2 months prior to the day of workshop you are booking into.
  • Balance due 21 days prior to the day of workshop you are booking into.
  • All invoices must be paid by the due dates as set out in the invoice. Unless stated otherwise, payment must be received in full before the Mentoring/workshop day. 
  • All payments are strictly non-refundable.
  • In the event that any payment is not made on time, your seat will be released to a waitlist and all previously paid amounts non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be given unless you give more than 28 days written notice and PJP can resell your seat (using reasonable efforts), in which case either:
  1. all payments except for your $450 deposit will be refunded. You understand that this is not a penalty but rather reflects some of the loss that I will incur of not being able to find a replacement to fill the place that I have reserved for you and your family at short notice; or
  2. You’ll be able to transfer your spot to an alternative workshop, subject to availability, without losing your $450 deposit
  • All fees are exclusive of GST unless otherwise agreed.
  • I reserve the right to refuse to carry out the photography services if I have not received payment by the date specified in the invoices.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT:

This agreement contains the entire understanding between Photographer and Client. It supersedes all prior agreements between the parties. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. If the parties want to waive one provision of this agreement, it does not mean that any other provision is also waived.
