The three of you, your entire world right there. Y The three of you, your entire world right there. You think you’ll remember this, the exact feeling of him on your chest. The way he fits into the gap between your shoulder and his, the way time goes by as you just watch them with complete adoration. But trust me the days blur, they really do. One week he’s this size and the next he isn’t, and you’ll be left trying to describe it to someone instead of showing them. This is why I come to you. Your home, your bed, your light, your ordinary Tuesday morning. There’s n packing the car, or getting anyone dressed, or stressing to tidy up. I’m booking newborn and family sessions for summer now. I was reading back through these and there was a s I was reading back through these and there was a strong similarity. Almost nobody leads with the photos, they all talk about how the session felt. Being nervous and then not being nervous. Kids who hate the camera having the time of their lives. One mumma who booked two weeks postpartum and wasn’t sure she could face it, and is so glad she didn’t wait. That’s the bit I’m actually proud of. Not that the photos came out beautifully, but that the hour itself was something they enjoyed, and that they’re in them. 🧡

Seriously… you are not going to value to all smile look at camera shot of the kids when they are all grown up, and neither will they. THIS is the one.
