I’m Polly, a family, newborn and maternity photographer based in Wollongong, photographing families throughout the Illawarra and South Coast.

My sessions are relaxed, playful and centred around your family’s connection. There’s no expectation for your kids to stand still and smile at the camera. We walk, explore, play games, cuddle, laugh and let things unfold naturally, so what you end up with feels like you.

That might mean barefoot chaos on the beach, an afternoon at home or exploring somewhere your family loves, the aim is always the same: photographs that take you straight back to this version of your family.

I photograph families throughout Wollongong and the Illawarra, including beaches, bushland, parks and in-home sessions. Once I know a little about your family and the look and feel you’re drawn to, I can help you choose a location that suits you.

I keep a close eye on the weather in the lead-up to outdoor sessions. Cloudy skies are definitely not a problem, but if conditions genuinely aren’t going to work, we’ll make a call together and find another option.

They don’t need to. My sessions are built around movement and play rather than asking children to perform for the camera. I follow their energy, change things up when we need to and use plenty of games to keep things fun.

Yes. I photograph family, newborn and maternity sessions throughout Wollongong, the Illawarra and South Coast. Newborn sessions are usually held at home, while maternity sessions can be at home or outdoors.

If you have a particular season, weekend or sunset date in mind, booking ahead is always a good idea. If your timing is flexible, get in touch and I can let you know what I currently have available.
