Having run my photography business for over 11 years, I’ve been through plenty of ups and downs. I’ve tried and tested different strategies, and learned from my mistakes. Now, I want to share my knowledge with you.
When I first started out as a lifestyle photographer, I made all of the usual mistakes and then some. I had no idea of my ideal client, and even less of an understanding of how to attract them. I was constantly booking clients who wanted me to shoot them the way they wanted to be captured, and not how I wanted to capture them. It took me a long time to work out how to change this!

The newborn live shoot. Seeing how you worked with toddlers! Seriously the best. I don’t think many workshop teachers have the confidence to do a newborn shoot with lots of kids. This definitely sets you apart. Normally it’s just mum and baby or mum, dad and baby. But by having the multiple kids, gave us a huge insight into how to navigate the beautiful chaos of it all.
