A beautiful evening like this with a gorgeous family as they celebrated their daughter’s very first birthday. I can’t help but think that maybe that extra special sunset wasn’t just a coincidence but a visual representation of the love and adoration that positively radiated from this family.
The serenity of nature seemed to reflect the calm determination and quiet strength within, as this blooming mother embraced the changes her body was undergoing. Every step we took felt like a dance, a delicate ballet of new beginnings and the world around her.
Nothing gets me more excited than the opportunity to have a bit of fun and push the boundaries, so you can only imagine how over the moon I was to learn that my gorgeous clients had a motorbike which they were willing to include in their session.
This session was so relaxed and chilled. It was probably one of the coldest days of winter we’ve had this year (in Sydney that is), with gale force winds to boot. But inside this little love shack, was only warmth and an overwhelming feeling of joy. The sun was streaming through the windows on this winter afternoon, almost like it was saying… “let it shine on you”
We found this gorgeous waterfall in the Royal National Park. The minute we started the session, I felt at ease. It was such a different vibe to any other Maternity Shoot I’d done before. That’s what I wanted, I wanted Emma’s Session to be truely hers, to look like nobody else’s.

Family Photography – South Coast NSW – Seriously Fun Session! So this session kept me running the entire time. The girls were absolutely adorable. Their eyes were so captivating (when they stood still long enough for me to see them). They both ran in opposite directions the entire shoot. Gorgeous Mum Eli (who is the amazing photographer for Little Lights) kept apologising for them, but I just loved their wild spirits. The more crazy and fun kids are in my sessions, the happier I am.
